This program provides education on the dynamics of domestic violence to help those experiencing abuse make informed life decisions.

Domestic Violence Education Class

The 7-week Domestic Violence Education Class provides a ‘brave space’ for women to share their stories without judgement while learning the dynamics of healthy relationships and how their relationship choices impact their children and other loved ones. Individual services are provided to link women to resources in their immediate community.

Class assignments will be made when the intake is completed. Intakes will be completed by phone. The class facilitator will contact referrals to complete the necessary paperwork and assign the class time. Clients are required to attend one time weekly for seven weeks.

Child care is not provided.

To meet COVID-19 requirements, each class will be limited to six participants to maintain social distancing. Participants will be required to wear a face mask upon entering the building.
