Announcement of Appointment Journey Center CEO

The Board of Directors of Journey Center for Safety and Healing is thrilled to announce the appointment of Anne Face as the incoming CEO beginning December 2, 2024.

Most recently, Anne served as Associate Director at Family and Community Services, Inc. (FCS) in Ravenna, OH. FCS provides a broad continuum of services. Anne oversaw 70+ programs in 23 counties and managed a budget of nearly $40M. Prior to that, Anne was the Director of the Battered Women’s Shelter and the Rape Crisis Center of Summit and Medina counties.

Anne is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Portage County. She worked as a housing advocate with the homeless population in Portage County and led Safer Futures in Portage County and Someplace Safe in Trumbull County (included shelter, hotline, support group, court advocacy, visitation and transitional housing). It was because of the Board’s confidence in Robin’s leadership and expertise that they were able to take our time in finding the best candidate.
