Gloria's Story
My husband hit me regularly. But when he began lashing out at our three children, I knew I had to leave. The cold winter night we arrived at Shelter felt like the lowest point of my life. I didn’t see how we would ever climb out of that black hole.
But the supportive environment at Journey Center and their Emergency Shelter slowly filled me with hope. Now, I can at least envision a better future.
